The Flashforge Adventurer 5M is an FDM 3D printer: it builds objects layer by layer from plastic filament, from prototypes, parts and tools to models and household items.

It has a build volume of 220 × 220 × 220 mm (8.7 × 8.7 × 8.7 in), a top print speed of 600 mm/s and a nozzle that reaches 200 °C.

The Flashforge Adventurer 5M uses CoreXY motion for speed, has a direct-drive extruder, which handles flexible filament, levels its bed automatically and is enclosed, which keeps the temperature stable for ABS, ASA and other engineering filaments.

FDM printing gives off fine particles and fumes, more with ABS and ASA than with PLA: print in a ventilated room, or use an enclosed printer with a filter. Keep the printer away from flammable materials when it runs unattended.
